OSHKOSH – Wings on Strings returns to the EAA Aviation Museum on May 30.
The event, which runs from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., is free with regular museum admission, according to a community announcement.
The museum’s Founders Wing will be transformed into a kite-building area, and attendees can fly their creations on the grass runway of Pioneer Airport. Pre-made kites are also welcome.
The Wisconsin Kiters Club will be on hand, offering demonstrations throughout the day featuring unique kite designs. The event will conclude with a hot air balloon glow, weather permitting.
