Este Haimhas tied the knot!

The eldestHaimsister, 39, and the tech entrepreneur Jonathan Levin, said "I do" on New Year's Eve, a source tells PEOPLE.

Ahead of the ceremony,Voguefollowed Este and her sisters Danielle and Alana to the Louis Vuitton atelier in Paris for the fittings for her ceremony, reception and after-party looks, as well as her sisters' bridesmaid dresses.

"I've been looking forward to this day since I was five,"Este toldVogue."I had this vision of me, coming down a spiral staircase ... in this giant ballroom gown, and then my fiancé, [my] husband, would be at the bottom and grab my hand."

Though details on the ceremony were still mostly under wraps, Este certainly got the dress of her dreams; theVoguestory gives a glimpse at the gown, which features a jacket with lace details, a high neck and puff sleeves, buttoned over a sharp sweetheart-neckline gown with voluminous panniers. Her sisters were her "something blue" in long spaghetti-strap dresses with gathering at the hips.

"I feel like the exact way that I wanted to be on my wedding day." Este said, complimenting Louis Vuitton designer Nicolas Ghesquière for completely understanding the vision for her bridal looks.

And though she couldn't wait to wear them on the big day, she toldVoguethat her priority was having all the people she loved together. "I'm looking forward to seeing my entire family together, for the first time in a long time, and partying with my friends, and finally being married ... The most important thing is that I'm getting married and that I met the right person."

The entrepreneur and musician have not revealed when they first began dating, but Este toldGQin June 2025 that they met a couple of years prior after she went on a blind date "with a friend of a friend of a friend."

The couple's first date included a visit to Pioneer Works in Brooklyn, New York. "It's like an art gallery that has a good beer selection and a good wine selection," she says. "And it was great."

She announced their engagement just before Valentine's Day. On Feb. 13, she shared a photo of herself smiling widely while showing off her engagement ring from Levin.

In the celebratory snap, Este placed her left hand over her head, putting her new sparkler — a gold, square-cut diamond ring — on full display. Also on display was her shirt, a light blue, bedazzled baby tee that, appropriately, read, "I'M TAKEN."

Este also shared a post on Valentine's Day, with a screenshot of the pair on a video call.

"Happy valentine's day, i love you j," she wrote over the sweet tribute at the time.

The musician's engagement and Valentine's day posts were a rare instance, as the couple keeps their romance largely private, both on social media and in the press.

Levin has, however, been photographed alongside his now-wife at several events, including in thesuite at Kansas City Chiefs gamesalongside her close palTaylor Swiftaccording to photos obtained by Just Jared. The couple was also spotted together at the pop superstar's 34th birthday party, as well as theU.S. Open.

"We had an amazing time at the U.S. Open ... yeah I would do that like a jillion times over again," she told the outlet at the time. "That was so much fun."

While speaking withThe Cutin 2023, Este said, "I don't think I truly understood self-love until the last three or four years."

"There's an air of confidence that comes from just loving yourself," she added, "the good and the bad."

Hugh Jackman/Instagram Neil Diamond and Hugh Jackman sing karaoke

Hugh Jackman/Instagram

Hugh Jackmanwill always remember the night that he sang karaoke with Neil Diamond.

TheSong Sung Bluestar revealed on a recent episode ofThe Graham Norton Showthat the encounter happened after the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer had an emotional response to watching Jackman's new movie about a Diamond tribute band, Lightning & Thunder.

"He rang me after seeing the movie with his wife, Katie, and he was crying," Jackman said. "He was so moved by it. He loved it. And he just loved the story of Mike and Claire."

The film, which costars Kate Hudson and is directed by Craig Brewer, is based on the story of Claire "Thunder" and the late Mike "Lightning" Sardina.

When Jackman received the call from Diamond, he was excited.

"So I took the opportunity. I said, 'Guys, I'd love to come around and have a cuppa or something,'" Jackman said, using a term for a cup of tea or coffee. "And Neil's like, 'Okay, yeah, all right.' And then I didn't hear from Neil anymore. And Katie obviously takes the phone and goes, 'You know we're in Colorado?' I went, 'Okay, I'd still like to come for a cuppa,' and she was like, 'So I guess you want to stay the night?' I'm like, 'That'd be great.' And she's like, 'Okay.'"

Jackman ended up visiting the couple.

"Neil came out and he came up to me. And he grabbed me, and he goes, 'You did good, kid,'" Jackman said. "But he was emotional about it. And so I stayed the night, and, at dinner time, Neil Diamond —Neil Diamond— goes, 'You want to do some karaoke?' I'm like, 'Hell, yeah.' We did karaoke."

Jackman was elated that Diamond wanted to sing "I Dreamed a Dream," the song Jackman sang in the 2012 Oscar-winning musicalLes Misérables, in which he played Jean Valjean. They also did "Can't Help Falling in Love" and, of course, Diamond's own "Sweet Caroline."

Get your daily dose of entertainment news, celebrity updates, and what to watch with ourEW Dispatch newsletter. While the Diamonds were fans of the movie, Sardina's son, Michael Jr., has slammed it.

"My father's rolling in his grave right now," Michael Jr., toldThe Daily Mailthis week. He argued that the film "completely destroyed the one thing my father worked his entire life to pass on — his legacy. I want the true story out there and I want it used with truth, with dignity, and I want retribution."

He expressed frustration over the way it's being perceived.

"Everybody thinks it's such a wonderful film, it's so touching. It's all lies," he said. "And it steals all the hard work that my father put in his entire life."

For Michael Jr., the stars of the movie were to blame.

"Every interview that those monsters have been on national television don't even mention my existence at all, even though I was the most prevalent force in my father's life, even when I wasn't in Wisconsin, because I'm his only son," he said. "They didn't even try to contact me... They didn't try to get more information... They could have very easily asked Craig [Brewer]."His sister Angelina called the movie "upsetting" and "a lie."

However, Claire Sardina has been supportive, according toPEOPLE.

Rachel Murray/Getty  Scott Mackinlay Hahn and Winona Ryder attend the 'Stranger Things' season 3 world premiere on June 28, 2019 in Santa Monica, California

NEED TO KNOW

  • Winona Ryder has been in a relationship with Scott Mackinlay Hahn since 2011

  • The Stranger Things actress and the fashion founder have kept a low profile over the years, but he has supported her at various events

  • Hahn is a fashion designer and entrepreneur

Winona Ryderand her boyfriend,Scott Mackinlay Hahn, have been together since 2011.

TheStranger Thingsactress and the fashion designer have kept much of their personal life private over the years, but that hasn't stopped them from supporting each other over the years.

In 2024, Ryder shared rare insight about her partner, expressing her gratitude for him.

"He's so great. He really is. I'm really lucky," she said during an interview withHarper's Bazaarin July 2024.

Hahn is a fashion designer and entrepreneur who founded the sustainable brand, Loomstate. Over the years, he has worked with several brands — including Chipotle, Whole Foods and Shake Shack — to create environmentally friendly uniforms.

So, who is Winona Ryder's boyfriend? Here's everything to know about Scott Mackinlay Hahn and his relationship with the actress.

He's a fashion designer

Hahn is a fashion designer and the co-founder of the green and socially-conscious line Loomstate.

During an interview withTIMEin August 2012, he explained that the brand was focused on creating organic cotton as a means of minimizing the environmental damage traditional cotton farming caused.

As Hahn toldRackedin 2010, his business was born out of a desire to create a company that's both sustainable and profitable.

"Even though it's this idea of being environmentally conscious, inspired by nature, and socially responsible, it was really born out of wanting to make our factory profitable," he said. "It has to go hand-in-hand. And we wanted to create criteria that raised the bar in supply chain operations. So, using certified organic cotton was the only way we were going to make jeans."

Notably, Loomstate designed Chipotle's uniforms in 2012.

Hahn also serves as the chairman of theSustainability Steering Committee for the Council of Fashion Designer of America(CFDA) and as a board member of theCouncil for Textile Recycling.

He's from New York

Hahn may appear alongside Ryder in Los Angeles, but he's originally from the East Coast. As Ryder toldHarper's Bazaar, Hahn grew up on Fire Island, N.Y., before moving to Brooklyn.

He toldRackedin 2010 how the Big Apple influenced his overall lifestyle.

"The reality of moving to Bushwick gave me light and space I didn't have in New York City — in a community that's kind of an industrial utopia. It was definitely more inspiring artistically in a way," he said.

The designer continued, "Even the street vibration out there, it's a little bit harsh. It's the sort of place you would never decide or aspire to live. It's changing, but the way I grew up — it's literally the farthest place from where I'd say, 'I'm going to live there one day.' "

Not only is Hahn's professional life focused on environmentally sustainable practices, but his Williamsburg home is as well.

He explained toRackedat the time, "The building I live in is very efficient. It's a six-story building. The building was built recently, it was finished about a year ago, a year and a half ago, it's a new construction, it was done by a guy named Rob Herschenfeld, who developed a lot of the lofts out in Bushwick."

Hahn also said that the building was made using "reclaimed materials," including salvaged bricks.

He didn't recognize Ryder the first time they met

While speaking toHarper's Bazaarin June 2022, Ryder revealed that Hahn is so removed from show business that he didn't even know who the actress was when they first met.

"He thought I was Milla Jovovich," Ryder said. "He told me I was great inThe Fifth Element."

Despite the early mishap, Ryder said she appreciated Hahn's lifestyle away from the public eye.

"We connected on so many levels. But it was amazing that he's not in this business. ... I really did try to keep it quiet," she told the publication of their romance.

He's supportive of Ryder's career

Though Hahn generally keeps a low profile, he has supported Ryder at several red carpet events over the years.

In July 2016, the couple made their red carpet debut at the premiere ofStranger Thingsseason 1.

Hahn alsojoined his girlfriend at the Screen Actors Guild Awardsin January 2020 and the New York premiere ofStranger Thingsseason 4 in May 2022.

Most recently, Hahn accompanied Ryder to theBeetlejuice Beetlejuicepremierein August 2024 at the Venice Film Festival.

Ryder has said she's unsure if she'll ever get married

Despite dating for over a decade, Ryder and Hahn might never tie the knot, mainly because the actress does not want to get a divorce.

She toldThe Edit(viaTIME) in July 2016, "Marriage? I don't know. I'd rather never have been married than been divorced a few times. Not that there's anything wrong with divorce, but I don't think I could do it if that was a possibility."

She added, "When your parents are madly in love for 45 years, your standards are really high."

It's no secret that being apublic school teacherisn't exactly known for being the most lucrative profession, so much so that it's preventing many from buying houses and simply keeping up with rising costs.

Perhaps no one knows this better than Kristen, a Florida middle school teacher who recently ranted about the topic in aTikTok video: "My small rant about teacher's pay," in which she details how her salary has not caught up to her home's increasing value," overlay text on the video read.

"My home was purchased in 2016 for around $160,000," said Kristen (@kristen_fl). "My income as a teacher at that time was about $40,000. Today, in 2025, my home is worth about $350 to $360,000. My income as a teacher — with a masters' — is about $54,000."

Kristen took to social media to go off on how low teachers' pay is. kristen_fl/tiktok

"How are people buying homes?" she continued. "How are people purchasing homes at these prices?"

This frustrated teacher seems to have a point. While some states have given teachers a generous bump in their pay, the average national teacher's salary in the U.S., $72,030, has struggled to keep up with inflation, according to theNational Education Association.

Only Oklahoma (10.5%), Idaho (9.1%) and Utah (8.9%) had the largest one-year increases, according to NEA.

And according to their data, teachers are making 5% less in pay than they were a decade ago.

Several commenters on the viral vid, which has received over 20,000 views to date, agreed with Kristen's self-described "rant," with some presumed teachers sharing that they aren't purchasing homes right now either.

"We can't afford the houses, so we are having to work two jobs just to pay for apartment rent. I'm tired," commented a fellow teacher.

"I haven't had a raise in 9 years," added another. "Our step raises in Georgia stop after year 19. We built our house in 2002, and couldn't afford to build/buy the exact same house (today). It's become our forever home."

Many teachers agreed with Kristen's rant, complaining about their low pay, too. WavebreakMediaMicro – stock.adobe.com

Other commenters, however, disagreed with or mocked Kristen's assessment that teacher pay does not adequately keep up with home values.

"Surrounded by teachers. All own their own homes," said @gendron123. "Two are my single sisters. Embarrassing a teacher has to ask how to do it."

"Didn't you know the pay before you went to school to become a teacher," asked @tonyskiski.

Kristen then emphasized that while no one should go into teaching for the money (or lack thereof), it's a great career for those who want to enrich their students' lives.

"If you want to become a teacher, do it because you want to make a difference in a child's life," said Kristen. "Do it because you want to enhance, quite literally, the future of the United States. Don't do it for the money. There is no money in this profession."

Yemeni transport ministry says Saudi Arabia mandated inspections of flights between Aden and UAE

ADEN, Yemen (AP) — Yemen's transport ministry, which is aligned with Emirati-backed southern separatist authorities, on Thursday said Saudi Arabia has imposed requirements mandating that flights to and from Aden International Airport undergo inspection in Jeddah.

The ministry, which is affiliated with the Southern Transitional Council, or STC, said in a statement that it was "shocked" by what it denounced as "sudden procedures" requiring international flights departing from or arriving in Aden to stop in Jeddah for inspection before continuing their journeys.

When local officials sought clarification, Saudi authorities said the restriction applies only to flights operating between the Yemeni city of Aden and the United Arab Emirates, according to the ministry's statement.

The reasons behind the measures reportedly imposed by Saudi Arabia remain unclear. The Saudi and Emirati foreign ministries didn't immediately respond to requests for confirmation and comment.

In its statement, the ministry demanded "an end to the air blockade imposed on the Yemeni people, a reversal of these measures, and a continuation of the previous mechanisms that have been in place for years."

This latest development comes amidfurther strained ties between Saudi Arabia and the UAE, neighbors on the Arabian Peninsula that increasingly have competed over economic issues and regional politics, particularly inthe Red Sea area.

Tensions rose after the STC moved last month into Yemen'sgovernorates of Hadramout and Mahraand seized an oil-rich region. The move pushed out forces affiliated with the Saudi-supported National Shield Forces, another group aligned with the coalition in fighting the Iran-backed Houthis.

Yemen has been engulfed in a civil war for more than a decade with the Iran-aided Houthis controlling much of the northern regions, while a Saudi-UAE-backed coalition supports the internationally recognized government in the south. However, the UAE also helps the southern separatists who call for South Yemen to secede once again from Yemen. Those aligned with the council have increasingly flown the flag of South Yemen, which was a separate country from 1967-1990.

The United Statesurged diplomacyin Yemen while the Saudi-led coalition in Yeme now demanded the withdrawal of STC forces from the two governorates as part of de-escalation efforts, with local authorities returning to oversee them, and the handover of their military camps.

Faez bin Omar, a leader with the Hadramout Tribes Confederacy, told The Associated Press Thursday that UAE-backed forces started withdrawing from al-Rayyan base, which is located inMukalla city, the capital of Hadramout, two days ago.

The Council's forces operating in the airport at al-Rayyan base are working to remove weapons and military vehicles left behind their allied forces, however, the situation could still develop, according to Bin Omar. "The Council forces are present inside and around the airport, apparently waiting for the UAE-backed forces to complete their withdrawal tomorrow morning. The base is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, and there has been a military operations room there for several years, used by the UAE allegedly combating terrorism," he said.
